Alexander Chaitoff, MD, MPH
Alexander Chaitoff, MD, MPH is a Research Fellow in Implementation Science at Brigham and Women's Hospital and a Hospitalist at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. His research interests include identifying low-value care and finding the most efficacious methods to deprescribe it.
Alex earned his undergraduate degrees in Microbiology and Political Science from The Ohio State University. He then obtained his Master of Public Health from the University of Sheffield in the UK before returning to the US to complete medical school at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine. Most recently, he is a graduate of the Brigham and Women’s Hospital Internal Medicine Residency program where he was in the Atrius Health/HVMA Program in Primary Care and Population Medicine.
