Gauri Bhatkhande, MPH

Gauri Bhatkhande, MPH, is a Research Specialist at the Center for Healthcare Delivery Sciences in the Division of Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacoeconomics at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School.

Her research interests include medication optimization and safer prescribing in older adults, cardiometabolic medication safety and effectiveness, and conducting pragmatic trials and observational studies leveraging large EHR and administrative claims datasets.

Gauri earned her undergraduate degree in Pharmacy from the Institute of Chemical Technology, India. She obtained her MPH in Epidemiology with a Certificate in Applied Biostatistics and Data Science from Columbia University, Mailman School of Public Health. Prior to joining the center, she worked on pharmacoepidemiologic post authorization safety studies along with cancer prevention research at Columbia University.
